The Sumi-e Society of America publishes a quarterly journal that delves into various aspects of Japanese Sumi-é ( ink wash painting on rice paper ). The Society was created in New York in 1963 by Professor Motoi Oi to foster and encourage an appreciation of East Asian brush painting. In 2024 they featured my article on the ten elements of composition.
